45 Health and Eye Check-Up Camps Planned Across India to Strengthen Driver and Family Wellbeing

Mumbai, 12th February 2026: Kotak Mahindra Bank (‘KMBL’ / ‘Kotak’) today announced the launch of ‘Sehat Ka Safar 4.0’, the fourth edition of its flagship CSR initiative offering preventive healthcare checkup for India’s transport community. The programme underscores Kotak’s sustained commitment to the health and wellbeing of truck drivers, transporters, and their families—an essential yet often underserved workforce that keeps India’s economy moving.


Key Enhancements in Sehat Ka Safar 4.0

 

This year, the initiative introduces several impactful additions to strengthen healthcare delivery:

 

  • Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) Card Issuance
    Each beneficiary will receive a unique digital ID to store and track medical information.

 

  • Additional Lab Tests
    Comprehensive tests beyond what was offered in previous camps for better health screening.

 

  • Chest X-ray Facility
    Added to enhance diagnostic capabilities and enable early detection of health issues.

Launched in 2022, Sehat Ka Safar has expanded consistently year-on-year. Over the last three editions, the initiative has organised more than 120 health camps across 75+ cities in the country, reaching nearly 13,500 drivers.

The fourth edition, which commenced on 18 December 2025, will run until 31 March 2026, with 45+ health and eye check-up camps planned across key transport corridors in India. Through this edition, Kotak Mahindra Bank aims to extend preventive healthcare services to nearly 4,500 truck drivers and their families, contributing to better long-term health outcomes and financial resilience within the transport ecosystem.

The initiative continues to focus on preventive healthcare for truck drivers, transporters, and their families, with camps being set up across Odisha, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and other key transport touchpoints.

Each Sehat Ka Safar 4.0 camp is supported by qualified doctors, paramedical staff, and counsellors who conduct medical check-ups, create health awareness, and guide drivers on preventive care and access to relevant government welfare schemes. By setting up camps at key transport corridors and logistics hubs, the initiative helps overcome the challenge of limited healthcare access faced by drivers due to long and demanding travel schedules.

We also saw our gross margins improving to reach the highest levels for the past 15 quarters, enabling deliveryof EBIDTA within the guidance range. EBIDTA % remained impacted by negative scale effect and continued investments in brand building. We expect to see improvements coalesce over the coming months. BJN Nepal results, while positive, continue to be impacted by the disturbed political scenario. STP Limited was impacted by a temporary shutdown at Jamshedpur; operations have now normalized. SBL Specialty Coatings Private Limited’s (SBL) revenue was impacted by slowdown in the fan industry and lower export demand. Profit at SBL was adversely impacted by a one-off expense due tothe commissioning of its new factory near Chandigarh. Our JV’s namely BNPA and Berger Becker recorded robust double-digit growth in both topline and bottom-line. Forex volatility and geopolitical uncertainty continue to pose near-term margin risks.
