A cricket match was organized by the alumni of the school in the school premises today on 15 December for the renovation of Lucknow Montessori School, the first Montessori school of the state, established by the great revolutionary Durga Bhabhi (Durga Devi Vohra).
The purpose of organizing this cricket match was to bring the alumni on one platform and motivate them for the renovation of the school. More than 100 alumni participated in this event. Thereafter, the students discussed the development of the school financially and materially.
The alumni were made aware of the needs of the school through the school’s principal Prashant Mishra. In memory of Durga Bhabhi, the alumni also planted trees in the premises. Prominent alumni who participated in this event included famous film personality Atul Tiwari, former State Information Commissioner Ajay Kumar Upreti, social worker Sharad Mehrotra, Ravindra Singh Bisht, Anand Krishna, Shailendra Singh Rawat, Jitendra Sahu, Arun Srivastava, Preeti Shah, etc.;;
