Kaushal Mahotsav in Lucknow Kicks Off with Over 8500+ Youth Attending on Day 1
Lucknow, March 9th, 2024: A two-day mega recruitment drive, the Kaushal Mahotsav, organized by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) kick started today at the University of Lucknow. The event brought together 84 employers and thousands of eager job seekers from various educational backgrounds under one roof.
The first day of the Lucknow Kaushal Mahotsav was brimming with enthusiasm with over 8500 people attending the event, 5541+ candidates engaged with more than 84 employers spanning various sectors, eager to discover job openings and training prospects for local youth. Among them, more than 2748 candidates were shortlisted by employers on the day one.
On day two Shri Rajnath Singh, India’s Hon’ble Defence Minister, and Shri Brajesh Pathak, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, are expected to grace the occasion with their presence, amplifying its significance.
Lucknow Kaushal Mahotsav represents a platform aimed at bringing employers and candidates at one platform, with employers from across sectors offering job opportunities to candidates. This mega job fair fosters strong connections, providing a unified platform for both employers and young people to engage. The enthusiasm observed here is proof of the success of the Kaushal Mahotsav and underscores NSDC’s vital role in not only equipping the nation’s youth with skills, but also assisting them secure relevant jobs. Youth from diverse educational qualifications have registered for the event, including MBAs, ITIs, diploma holders, graduates, intermediates, and matriculants. It will also be open for candidates belonging to schemes like PMKK, PMKVY, apprenticeship and several skill developments schemes.
