Medanta Lucknow and RED Health Mark One Year of Transformative Emergency Care Partnership
Partnership Serves Over 4,000 Patients, Achieves more than 150% Growth in Inbound Cases
Lucknow, November 29th, 2025: Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, in collaboration with RED Health—Asia’s only JCI-accredited and India’s largest emergency medical response platform—celebrates the first anniversary of a partnership that has significantly strengthened emergency and critical care delivery across the region. Over the past year, the partnership has supported 4,000+ patients, covering long-distance medical transfers across and beyond Lucknow. These cases were enabled through road, air, and train ambulances, with each mode used as per the needs of the case. The collaboration has expanded Medanta’s catchment area, ensuring timely access to advanced care for patients from neighbouring districts.
The deployment of 5G-enabled ambulances has supported over 170 critical patient cases. These ambulances enable real-time doctor intervention, allowing critical patients to receive expert guidance and life-saving treatment during transit. With this technology-driven integration, patients benefit from enhanced survival chances during the crucial golden hour.
A significant share of the inbound cases brought to Medanta through this partnership involved acute medical conditions such as fever (561 cases), chest pain (182 cases), high blood sugar (139 cases), and shortness of breath (74 cases), conditions that demand rapid response and timely clinical intervention. The collaboration has broadened Medanta’s emergency care ecosystem by offering a full spectrum of ambulance services, including ALS, NICU Ambulances, Train Ambulances, and Air Ambulances. This comprehensive support not only expanded geographical coverage but also improved patient and family satisfaction, thereby reinforcing Medanta’s reputation for trusted and end-to-end emergency care.
